World Vision Development Education

Wherever your classroom is located, World Vision New Zealand provides educational resources and experiences that bring the world to you. We aim to assist educators to engage their students with the issues faced by people in the developing world. Our hope is that students will understand the causes and consequences of inequalities in development, leading to compassion for others and a desire to take action.

Internet connections

An Internet connection runs live in Term 1 each year, linking students to real people in real situations. Background information combined with student activities create a stimulating learning environment. These websites remain online for ongoing use.

These simulation experiences allow students to "step into the shoes" of others, to face the decisions they face and appreciate how different life can be from their own.
