Give back this Christmas with World Vision Smiles gifts

World Vision New Zealand is giving Kiwis the chance to give their loved ones life-changing gifts for good this Christmas, with a new, revamped offering reflecting the needs of vulnerable communities around the world, right now.

From a homeschooling pack to help kids learn during COVID-19 lockdowns to handwashing stations, family hygiene kits and personal protective equipment kits for medical workers, World Vision’s new Smiles gifts give Kiwis the chance to help fight the good fight and support vulnerable communities through COVID-19 this Christmas.

“This year has been challenging for us all and especially so for the children, families and communities we serve around the world. If this year has taught us anything, it’s that we’re part of one large, connected world; we’re one global family. I’m so glad we can offer Kiwis the chance to make a tangible difference and bring smiles to those around the world who need them most as well as to their loved ones here at home with a Smiles gift,” says World Vision New Zealand’s National Director, Grant Bayldon.

“Our new gifts will provide relief and much-needed support to those who have suffered the most because of COVID-19. But you can still buy some of the much-loved options like a goat, a chicken and fast-growing seeds. There really is something for everyone. I know every time I give a Smiles gift, the reaction is always worth more than any other gift could provide.”

Each Smiles gift represents the work World Vision is doing right now around the world.

Last Christmas Kiwis bought more than 18,000 Smiles gifts, directly benefitting children, and their communities, World Vision works with overseas.
