You can help girls stay in school. Free from child marriage. Free from fear.

You can help girls stay in school. Free from child marriage. Free from fear.

Trish Peng, NZ wedding dress designer

We’re used to thinking of weddings as cause for celebration. But that isn’t the case for all of us. Around the world, 1 in 5 girls are forced to marry as children.

They stop going to school. They have children too young. Their futures are destroyed. “Finding out that girls from the age of 10 are forced to get married was absolutely heartbreaking,” says Kiwi wedding dress designer Trish Peng.

Trish has joined the fight against child marriage and has sponsored two-year-old Finella, to help ensure she stays in school and learns about her rights.

We can help bring an end to child marriage, but we urgently need your support.
